Heritage Federal Credit Union was formed in 1965, as Warrick Employees Federal Credit Union, by employees of ALCOA Warrick Operations in Newburgh, IN.

In 1983, our credit union became community-chartered, meaning opportunities for membership were opened to the community. Today, our membership is open to everyone who lives, works, worships or attends school in Vanderburgh or Warrick County or who has an immediate family member who does.

We have now grown to a credit union with seven full-service branches serving more than 33,388 members. We operate 3 offices in Warrick County and 4 offices in Vanderburgh County. We also have 7 drive-up ATMs and one walk-up ATM, plus an additional ATM is located at ALCOA Warrick Operations.

We offer a full line of financial products including: checking, savings/club, money market accounts, IRA, share certificates (CDs), auto, mortgage, personal and home equity loans, credit cards, debit cards, life, home and auto insurance products through Sentry Insurance, and renters insurance offered through Allied Solutions and Balboa Insurance Group

In addition to our full line of financial products we offer the following services: online banking, bill pay, phone banking, e-statements and over 30 area surcharge free atms, and a financial advisory service provided by Members Financial Services.

We also offer several educational resources for our members including: Anytime Advisor for our adult members, Googolplex for our young adults and Kirby Kangaroo Club for our youth members.
